Applying Survival Analysis to Predict Staff Attrition

Abstract Summary

We used employment history data for current and former employees (start and termination dates, job grade, location, etc.) and applied survival analysis to the calculated employment duration to obtain a retention (survival) function for a single employee and develop a predictive model of attrition.
