Programme Background

Students and young professionals are the future of drug development and DIA has long recognised this through its Student and Young Professionals programme which is geared to engaging with these key stakeholders as they embark upon their careers.

An evening reception held at the beginning of the meeting that allowed students and young professionals to meet each other and senior DIA staff.

Perspectives and Collaboration between Patients and Students

Student Feedback session gave students the opportunity to give feedback to key DIA staff on their EuroMeeting experience. Many of the recommendations will be used to enhance the programmes for students and young professionals at the 2014 EuroMeeting in Vienna.

Student Booth

Placed in the exhibition area and served as a meeting point. The informal nature of the booth allowed students to the opportunity to meet and share information.

The Poster Area hosted posters of students, patients and professional abstracts.
